"This book, Heartbeat, is an interesting book but it's just like any other book. It has no mystery so it doesn't make you wonder and it has no suspense so there's no reason to keep reading. I wouldn't recommend this book."

"I really recommend this book. The chapters are short, which I love. Basically what happens is that a couple, Marta and John, one night found a young boy sleeping on their porch. This boy is weird. He talks with sound and tapping. The couple ends up loving the boy (Jacob) and when he leaves, they're sad. Find out what happens after that in The Boy on the Porch."
It was bound to happen! We should have seen this coming!

"This is a hard book to review. The text is so "all over the place" yet it was a fun and short read. I give this book 2.75 [stars] because it wasn't the best book I ever read. Yet it wasn't the worst. This book is in the middle."

"Ginny is trying to survive 8th grade. But she doesn't like it. Every Friday, her school has to write a poem about a certain topic. I think Ginny likes that the most. She finds out that her new baby brother is on the way and so much more stressful things. Wish she survive? Read the book to find out? :-)"

"This book is horrible! It is slow (the story, plot), there is zero action, nothing exciting or sad happens, no descriptive writing! I wouldn't recommend this book."

"This book is great! It has lots of suspense. It's all about the rivalry between Greasers and Socs (rich kids and poor kids.)"
