Higher! Higher! by Leslie PatricelliOne child. One swing. An obliging dad. The inevitable plea to go "Higher! Higher!" Add Leslie Patricelli’s wildly expressive illustrations, and an everyday pastime reaches new heights of humor and whimsy. How high can it go? Higher than a giraffe? Taller than a mountain? Is Earth the final frontier? The creator of a popular series of board books rises to the occasion with an ingenious picture book of very few words that expresses the giddy glee of being pushed in a swing. (from Goodreads)

Space Activities for Your Toddler
Here at the library, during storytime, we always have sensory bins full of fun things related to that day's storytime theme! One of our all time favorites is Kinetic Sand. This squishy sand holds its shape without adding any water, and moves s-l-o-w-l-y through your hands. It's quite relaxing! You could make your own version of this "moon sand" but it's well worth the cost! (It clumps together so clean up is pretty easy!) Here's where we get ours:
